# What do all of the Ascend Analytics metrics mean?

The following additional definitions may be used in individual metrics:

**Bike**: Any item in a category which contains the word bike or bicycle but NOT part or comfort in its name.**Labor**: Any item in a category which contains the word labor or labour in its name.**Sales Person**: The user selected in the Sales Person drop-down on the transaction.**Cashier**: The user who created the transaction. This user may or may not be the same as the Sales Person.**Technician**: The user selected in the Technician drop-down in Work Order Details.**Assembler**: The user selected in the Assembled By drop-down in the Serial Number.**Work Order**: Transactions which have an active Work Order icon (located on the toolbar).

### Actual Days In Stock

The number of days the current inventory will last if it
sells at the same rate it did last year. Inventory Dollars divided by Last Year
average COGS for the upcoming 90 days.

### Add-on Dollars per Bike Sold

On finished (closed) transactions, the total non-bike or non-labor sales dollars divided by the total number (units) of bikes sold.

Average Days is an inventory turn metric expressed in days:

One inventory turn = 360 days

Two inventory turns = 180 days

Three inventory turns = 120 days

365 days divided by Inventory Turn (COGS divided by average inventory $ value for the same period).

Sherpa Tip: Average Days in Stock is NOT an average of the Actual Days In Stock metric.
